While Sarutobi's showing against Orochimaru and the Edo Hokage seemed pretty impressive, one has to remember that the Sandaime's former student was toying around (to his own admission) and his Tensei weren't going all out, either.Also, that was in Part I, where Sarutobi would've seemed like an amazing fighter with the skills he displayed, like a huge doton: doryuheki, masterful exploding tag planting ability, and a white-hot katon: karyuu endan, amazing sense of smell, and Enma Kongyou. To be honest, Sarutobi doesn't stand a chance against Onoki, with his limited feats.
